This Summer I went to visit London for a few days. During that time, I went to explore Shoreditch and Camden. Here are some photos from my visit to those places and the interesting finds I came across.
Shoreditch
Dark Sugars Cocoa House
Brick Lane, Shoreditch
In Shoreditch, down Brick Lane, I came across this Cocoa House called "Dark Sugars". This place sells delicious hot chocolate, chocolate and ice-cream. The interior of this place intrigued me since it is based around the culture of where the chocolate is made and where the idea for this shop was developed from. The shop may look basic, but the use of wooden table tops and dark walls create a rustic atmosphere, enticing people to come into the shop for a delicious treat. I can confirm that the hot chocolate was very good!
Camden
King's Cross Station
On my way back, I stopped through King's Cross Station. I really like the architecture created in the station, turning an ordinary train station into a piece of impressive architecture. I like how the structure allows the lighting to come through into the station, making the overall interior much more spacious therefore allowing the travellers coming through the station not feel as enclosed.
